With the economy in a downward motion there has been a decline of trading; hence the low numbers on the Dow and S&P 500 for the past 6 months. One specific part of the market is a decline of online option stock trading. Option trading is known to be a risky way to trade and make investments. The troubling economy only weakens the total population that is willing to make those types of investments. Option trading is known to boom during great economical times and dwindle during the fearful periods. However, the savvy investor knows that when the market lacks large amounts of investors there is better opportunity to make increased amounts of gain.
