Today’s Online Stock Trading is the Market

In today's market online stock trading makes up the majority of most transactions. When you buy stocks, a paper certificate is no longer given to the recipient; it becomes a digital transaction instead. Websites like Scottrade, Etrade, and Sharebuilder are just a few of the companies that contribute to online trading. These websites have seen a huge increase of traffic recently that created havoc with investments. I personally have an account with Sharebuilder. To help ease the discomfort of all that has been happening in the market and the increase of traffic ING (owner of Sharebuilder) recently gave all account owners free trades. However I'm not sure compensation like this will help the market or online trading.
